Creating a Project
When you first open FairCopy, you are greeted with a small window that allows you to select one of your recently opened projects, open a different project, or create a new project.
The “New Project…” button allow you to create a new project. You can give the project a name and a short description. You must select a place on your computer to store your project. The project will be stored in a single file with the *.faircopy extension. Once you’ve created your project, it will be automatically opened for editing.
All of you work on a project is stored in the file you specify during project creation. You can email this file to other FairCopy users. Please be sure to backup your project file on a regular basis.
